SQUEEZE Inc. (Head Office: Kitahiroshima, Hokkaido; CEO: Shinichi Tatebayashi) continues its rapid growth with five consecutive hotel openings in Hokkaido and Kyoto between March and April 2025. With 16 hotels launched over two years and its workforce doubling to 500 employees, the company is redefining local tourism through hotel operations and technology—offering a “live-like stay” experience across Japan. In addition, SQUEEZE Inc. has confirmed participation in an apartment hotel development project in Fukuoka (Hakata), marking its entry into the Kyushu market in 2026.

From April 2023 to April 2025, the number of facilities operated by the company grew from 21 to 37, with staff numbers increasing from approximately 250 to 500 (including part-time staff), strengthening the company’s operational foundation.

A hotel directly connected to JR Kitahiroshima Station, enabling smooth access for sports events and sightseeing. The facility is the first in Hokkaido to adopt “Suica Smart Lock,” allowing guests to use IC cards or smartphones as keys.

Entering Kyushu: Hakata Project Set for 2026

SQUEEZE Inc. will join a new apartment hotel development in Hakata, Fukuoka, scheduled to open in 2026. The hotel will be located approximately a 9-minute walk from JR Hakata Station and will operate under the “Minn” brand.

The project is arranged through “Mix Sand Hakata East TMK” by Hashtag Limited (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Masatsugu Igumi), which will also manage parts of development and hotel operations. SQUEEZE Inc. will serve as the main operator and introduce the next-generation smart mirror “Cynthia” developed by Cyplace Inc.

Fukuoka’s Hakata area is one of Kyushu’s leading tourism and business centers, with growing demand from inbound travelers across Asia. SQUEEZE Inc. will contribute to regional revitalization by leveraging its hospitality expertise and technology.
