Background and Purpose

Kitahiroshima City has drawn national attention as a leader in regional revitalization, driven by major redevelopment projects centered around the newly opened ES CON FIELD HOKKAIDO baseball stadium. The area has recorded one of the highest land value increases in Japan.

Since its founding in 2014, SQUEEZE Inc. has pursued its vision of “becoming a platform that expands the potential of space and time,” rooted in CEO Tatebayashi’s personal experience managing a vacation rental in Hokkaido. The company has expanded its tech-enabled hospitality operations nationwide and now manages several properties within Kitahiroshima City. In 2025, it relocated its registered headquarters from Tokyo to Kitahiroshima to deepen local collaboration.

Together with the city, SQUEEZE will accelerate the development of a sustainable urban model through tourism DX and regional co-creation.
