The award ceremony was attended by Executive Officer Yasuhiro Kurokawa, Executive Director of JNB Corporation, and Executive Officer Masayuki Nakamura, Executive Director of JNB Corporation. Mr. Anyoji, Executive Officer, attended the award ceremony and received the award.

SQUEEZE Overview and Reasons for Award

SQUEEZE is promoting DX in the lodging industry by leveraging its strengths in operation x tech, based on its vision of “expanding the possibilities of time and space. This time, SQUEEZE received a special award in the Entrepreneur category for its innovative and novel approach to DX for the industry as a whole, including the fact that it not only solves the labor shortage in the lodging industry, but also provides opportunities for workers to be free from location constraints.

SQUEEZE provides Cloud Operation Solution

The hotel is completely paperless thanks to its self-developed accommodation management system and smart operations that utilize technology such as smart locks. In addition, as a cloud receptionist, an online concierge working from a Cambodian base or from home supports guests during their stay. We are challenging the goal of “eliminating inequality among people and countries” by realizing a world view where people can work from anywhere, anytime, regardless of space and time, and further connecting hotel operations to the global community.

I am very happy and humbled to receive this prestigious award on the occasion of our company’s 10th anniversary. I founded SQUEEZE with the idea of “providing a solution to fill vacant space and time with value,” inspired by my original experience of remotely managing an abandoned house in Hokkaido, where I was born and raised, from overseas. Today, we operate 30 hotels throughout Japan, and with the support of our various partners, we have been given many valuable opportunities to participate in urban development projects and develop next-generation hotel products. Encouraged by this award, we will continue to work hard to enhance the potential of the tourism industry in Japan and to solve industry issues from a global perspective.
